I believe it’s important to expand your circle of friends in order to gain important insight on a multitude of topics. Typically I will speak to photographers with similar styles and experiences than I have. It’s comfortable. However, comfort can give way to complacency.
Even since I’ve interacted with Bryan Minear I’ve been introduced to his style of photography. There is no green which is a stark difference from my style. Bryan has helped me see beyond my circle of friends, so I wanted to have him on the podcast to hear about how he developed his style and what life altering even led him to design and photography.
In this edition of The Landscape Photography Show, Bryan Minear and I discuss:
His journey to photography
How a life altering event led him into a creative life
Why he hates green
How photography and design are merging
And more!
