RV Life and Women in Photography With Patricia Davidson

I suffer from something that I’ve labeled as photo envy. It’s the envy of someone else’s photography style and expression. Every time I see one of Patricia Davidson’s photographs my photo envy flares up because she has the ability to compose some of the most beautiful and pristine landscape photographs. I was really excited to get Patricia Davidson to join me on The Landscape Photography Show because I’ve looked up to her for so long. Not only that, I selfishly wanted to catch up and see what she’s been up to in the photography world.

In this episode of The Landscape Photography Show, Patricia Davidson and I talk about some pressing matters in landscape photography, like why we don’t see enough women in landscape photography? Where are they? Why don’t they get the credit they deserve for creating beautiful works of art? There has been a surge of women photographers get the credit they’re due, but I don’t think they get enough credit. Neither does Patricia.

I also wanted to catch up with Patricia Davidson because we haven’t spoken since she stopped traveling full-time in her RV. In this episode, she shares what life is like on the road, and some of the drawbacks to constantly being on the road. She also shares the contrasts between road life and living in a more consistent space like the home that she has now. Oh, not to mention all of the quality information she shares on selling prints and how you can put those prints front and center on your website.
