There’s not much to say about the photography community in India except that they are the most generous bunch of people I’ve ever met. They are collectively supportive of one another and beyond generous of their time. That energy has bled over into their work. I’ve been seeing some incredible landscapes come out of India that I never expected to see.
One photographer that I continue to be amazed at is Rakesh Pulapa. A self-described “small-town photographer,” Rakesh has built a portfolio that has plenty of big views both from land and air. I decided to have Rakesh on the podcast to get his view on Indian landscape photography as a whole, and how he fell in love with photographing his small town.
