One of my favorite parts of doing The Landscape Photography Show is meeting so many new photographers that I knew of but had never known about. Sitting down with them virtually over a cup of coffee usually brings out the most interesting life journeys from people. The conversations never disappoint and they always inspire.
Enter Matt Jackisch. As an air traffic controller, Matt found a unique option with his job that allowed him to store away some money and then use that cash while also taking extensive leaves of absence from work. Remind me again why I didn’t do this as a career? Matt share with us how one of these trips around the world led him to a journey into photography and what he has done with his photographic interests since.
