A great interview is all about connecting with the person that you’re talking to. It’s simply a conversation that you’d have over coffee in that person’s safe place. It didn’t take me long to connect with Margaret Soraya when we logged on together, probably because we seem to have very similar personality tendencies and thoughts about engaging with emotions.
Margaret has a unique vision of the peaceful side of the Scottish Isles. Even though we talked as a storm raged outside while Margaret sat by the fire, she had the ability to paint a calm and relaxing view of the remote Isles.
In our discussion, Margaret and I discuss her approach to seeing a scene in which she often sits and watches nature unfold and present itself. We also talk extensively about how events in our lives paired with personalities can shape who we are and how we see the world.
