I think it’s really easy to get pigeonholed in landscape photography content. Especially with something like a podcast, it’s so simple to get the same names doing interviews over and over again.
A couple of the challenges that I gave myself when I started The Landscape Photography Show were:
Try not to repeat a single guest (repeats can still be on panels)
Get younger and up-coming photographers on the podcast
This podcast covers challenge number two.
Henry Doyle and Ryan Taylor are two photographers who I believe you should watch for in the next few years. They are young, humble, and hungry to create their brand of photography while paying homage to the photographers they look up to.
They remind me of myself ten years ago. Single tear.
In this episode, Ryan, Henry, and I discuss what photography looks like to their generations that have grown up with social media. Is photography cool now with all of the sharing abilities other older photographers didn’t have?
We also discuss their preferences in local versus travel locations and their differences on the topic.
Plus much more!
